Graffiti artist Cyril Kongo, known for high-profile collaborations with Karl Lagerfeld, Hermès, and Airbus, is currently spotlighted in the exhibition Graffiti Alchemist: Journey of Knowledge and Chromatic Craft at Museum Wave in Seoul. Born in Vietnam in 1969 and raised partly in Brazzaville, Kongo discovered his artistic path through graffiti in Paris, adopting the name “Kongo” to connect more broadly with his audience. Now based in Bali, his work blends spray paint, oil, and acrylic with luxury design, spanning fashion, fine art, and even aircraft and yacht interiors. This exhibition, running from March 14 to June 1, 2024, offers a vibrant look into his unique fusion of street art and craftsmanship.
